RSVP is a part of the "Senior Corps", a network of national service programs that provide over half a million Americans 55 and over the opportunity to apply their life experiences to meeting community needs. RSVP volunteers serve in a diverse range of non-profit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based groups. RSVP recruits seniors to serve from a few hours a month to almost full-time, though the average commitment is 4 hours a week.
